Day 14: Growth

How does one determine where and when to make changes?
I believe that the need for change can come in many different forms-and transforms accordingly each time you reach out for it.
This can be measured by a number, a series of completed tasks, or by a feeling.
I find that change can be refreshing, scary, or both at the same time.
Especially when you’re searching for ways to change something about yourself that has suited you for so long..but no longer serves you or what you want out of life, or perhaps you’ve outgrown it.
But, how do we go about recognizing this?
Do we suddenly have an epiphany, or do we find ourselves at the very bottom and realize that the only thing to do is to do something differently?
Ultimately, though..what I’ve learned is that when you have someone by your side..growing with you, in their own way-change is a little less scary, and a lot more exciting..and that scary change becomes this beautiful thing called growth.
And when you sit back, and gain that perspective..the world just opens itself up to opportunities you never even dreamed were possible.
Soon enough, you are searching for ways to grow like a sunflower following the sun.
The warmth and glow becomes something your soul yearns for, and you wonder how you ever lived without it.
And then, you want to share that with anyone who will listen, and it becomes your gospel-and you want to preach it to the world!
I hope that you are learning and growing, and becoming everything you have ever dreamed of-and absolutely more each and everyday.
You have so much potential, and I am your biggest advocate.
I can only hope that we can continue to grow together, and chase the sun everywhere we go.
Here’s to resilience. -A
